The archive is unique in Northern Ireland as a local authority collection. With important support from PRONI and other relevant stakeholders we aim to ensure the collections are available for access either onsite or digitally.

The collection includes civic records of what was Londonderry Corporation dating from 1673, to collections relating to architecture, industry, transport, maritime history, social history and political movements. We also have an extensive art collection which includes material from local, national and international artists.

We accept donations of material that provide information on the history, heritage and culture of our region. Collection lists are available for all catalogued collections.
